3 year old misbehaving at preschool....anyone else?

Hi!
My 3 year old boy started pre school last week.
He has always been rough with his 2 year old twin sisters but hoping his behaviour would settle at school.
His teachers told me today that he was 'quite rough' with the other children and screaming a lot! Which he does at home.
I'm mortified and feel like he is the only child like that! The other children all seem so quite when I go to pick him up! Tell me I'm not the only one with a three year old like this! X

Do you think it could be a reation to being tired?? My sons behaviour is horrendous if hes really tired i imagine he'll be hard work this week starting pre school. Its quite easy for them to hide being tired and normally comes out like that

Just wanted to let you know your not alone. I get feed back like she's very hands on etc. My DD gets over excited very quickly and is quite hands on with out meaning to and the excitement just takes over and she can come across a bit rough. No matter how many times we have said gentle hands shes just really impulsive.
I find it hard hearing the feedback as the other kids seem so chilled out. I dread pick ups haha. It's def worse if my DD is tired luckily shes now started preschool in the morning not the afternoon so I'm hoping this will help. Don't worry there are others out there in the same boat! ***Hugs**��

Being "quite rough" isn't unusual for a 3 year old. Some just do better at school compared to at home. So all those calm quiet kids you see? Sure, some are just always calm and quiet all the time, but most of them probably are less calm and quiet at home. I know my kid is like that.

Sounds like his needs are not being understood. What do they say he is wanting? What stops it? X
