30 and 1st time TTC!

Hi everyone!

My husband and I are new to this journey. Neither of us have any children and I have never been pregnant before. I'm approaching 31 and he is almost 29...not quite cougar status :wink wink:

I am learning so much about my cycle that I never even knew. Boy do I feel uneducated! I am 3DPO and just got a confirmed ovulation (CD15) this morning with my 3rd elevated temp. I wasn't even sure I was ovulating, so great news! I only had one positive OPK on CD15. Now we wait. Intercourse wasn't timed the best as I really had no idea when ovulation would occur. We did the deed CD12/CD15/CD16. It's amazing that we only have a 20% chance of conceiving in any one cycle. Trying not to get my hopes up for this 1st attempt.

Thanks for reading and letting me blab! If anyone has any suggestions or words of wisdom, please throw them my way!

I'm 32 and ttc #1 on my second cycle so in the same boat. Sounds like you got your timings pretty good. Good luck x
