the v3s i rinsed, washed with detergent then tumbled the inserts and hang the covers to dry as they dry really quick.

Seeing as the inserts are microfibre they don't need prewashing to increase the absobancy, just in case there are any chemicals left in from the manufacturing process, so one prewash is enough. I put the inserts in the tumble dryer on the normal heat and hang the outers to dry. By the time your inserts are done, your outer will be dry too.
