This is my first post in this website.
We have been ttc for 1.5 years. I was diagnosed with PCOS ( irregular periods). So I was not ovulating on my own.
My gyn put me on clomid and metformin. I did clomid 50 , 100 and 150mg but did not ovulate.
Now i am referring to a RE and she waited one cycle to see if i ovulate on my own. Which i did not.
Today I had my baseline sono on day 3 of the period. and they discovered that i have a 31mm cyst on the right ovary.
They asked me to wait for one month and see if the cyst goes away. If not , they will give BCP.
I want to ask is..
1. Why wait for 1 month to see if its gone. Why not take BCP now.
2. Is it ok to take Letrozole and try with such a cyst?
