Okies, so after waiting an HOUR AND A HALF in the waiting room at the doctors office, I finally got in. I haven't gained any weight in 2 weeks, YAY. 
The baby's heart rate is really good. Annnddddd I'm 1cm dilated and 30% effaced! Yay for progress! I knew something was up.
But, my blood pressure was a bit high, 155/84, so they're starting me on weekly appointments to keep track of my blood pressure.
and on a random note, my SIL who was supposedly due 4 weeks behind me, is actually 4 weeks ahead of me, and in active labor right now, having her little boy.
BIG DAY! Hopefully I keep dilating and ...effacing... lol.
