Hi ladies,

This is my second pregnancy but I can't remember this from first time round.

My belly about 5inches above my belly button feels really bruised. It doesn't look bruised and I know I've not banged it, and weirdly it doesn't hurt to touch its more when I move?

Does anyone else have this feeling?

I did, so bad That if I touched it slightly harder it nearly had me in tears! Had it right up untill my son was born and then instantly it went :/ still don't know what caused it :) everything was good with me and jamie so it can't have been anything bad :) x

At 35 weeks I had a few days where I felt that baby was too big for his area and that was followed by a few days of my belly feeling bruised all the way across. It turned out baby had dropped a bit in that time! So if your experience is anything like mine, then check yourself out to see if you're lower. :)

(I'm now anxious to have that bruised feeling again in hopes he's dropping further!)

Hubby thinks I'm dropping, but my mum said other wise?

It's funny because I was trying to find this post earlier because today I've been having this feeling. It almost feels sore, like I've just worked out or something. Ironically, with this new feeling, my belly looks different today also, more pointy looking and a little lower. So I may have dropped. Don't know about the bruised/sore feeling though. Guess just stretching?
