This morning when I woke up to get ready for work, I noticed a tiny spot of brown blood on my pantyliner. When I wiped there was spot of bright red blood. Nothing since then though. I am guessing my cervix is just getting ready for labor. There wasn't any plug or unusual discharge so I don't think it mean labor is impending. Just wondering if any of you have had this.
I was expecting to see it again but haven't yet.

Husband and I didn't DTD last night or even the night before… or the night before that… lol (poor thing) so theres been no reason for my cervix to be aggravated.

If it's a tiny spot (like actually a spot, the size of a small bug or pin prick), yes, like you said, probably doesn't mean much and it could just be things getting ready to happen in time, especially in the absence of anything else. If it was more than that, like a tissue full when you wiped, it could be the start of a show. I know when I had my show (about 11 hours before my daughter was born, but before labour had really started). It was like having my period for a wipe or two. Nothing really came out in any quantity, but I felt a bit crampy and when I wiped there was fresh blood on the tissue, like about 2 inches by 2 inches in size, then it was gone. Contractions started within an hour and my daughter arrived 11 or so hours later. If you see anything more sizeable that just a few spots and you aren't obviously in labour, I might be inclined to get it checked out just to be safe. But yes, like you said, sounds like things definitely getting ready. My daughter (first baby) arrived at 37 weeks, so it really could be almost anytime now.

I am keeping an eye out and if I even see one more spot I am calling the doctor just to see what they say. Other than that I am just chalking it up to my cervix changing. I didn't have any bleeding or anything before labor with my daughter. I was just like a sitting duck lol this pregnancy has been full of surprises.
