37 weeks 3cm dilated 75% effaced

As the title says. I am 37 weeks 3cm dilated and 75% effaced does this mean i may go early or is that no indicator of when labour will happen? My 1st was born at 38 weeks

It certainly sounds good, but i've heard its quite normal to be a few cms dilated with second pregnancies and nothing till after due date. Hope you havent got much longer to wait

I was 2cm & 50% at my 36 week appointment and haven't progressed at all.

My SIL was 2cm dilated (don't know if effaced at all) at 36 weeks. She had my niece at 36+6 after walking a lot for 2 days and DTD. Sounds like you might want to try some of those labor inducing tricks! Good luck!

I was 3cm dilated with both my boys by 36 weeks both of them were induced one at 36 weeks and the other at 39 weeks and I really think I would have went overdue with my 2nd had I not been induced.
