37 weeks and 5 days..and scared

anyone else scared of something going wrong....i am a worry wart by nature so i am not surprised i am worrying now. i had a relatively good pregnancy this time with a little progesterone scare early on and then low fluid a few weeks back but now my fluid levels are up....

i get scanned every week and they say the baby is doing great...but still i am so nervous all the time. i only started buying things for the baby once i hit third trimester.

my doctor said that he doesn't induce until 10 days after 40 weeks...

what can i do to go back to altleast not worrying every day...im driving myself nuts

I'm not nearly as far along as you but I know I will feel EXACTLY the same. A friend said the same too when she was so close to giving birth after losing two babies in the first tri, by the time she got to the third even though she was being checked up on regularly she was just so worried.

I don't know how I'll feel when I'm at your stage, but right now it is a case of one day at a time. It might help you to find some meditation tracks to help you relax and to focus on positive thoughts. I know it sounds a bit hippyish, but I used meditation when we were struggling with TTC and it really helped to calm me down, and even in the early days of the 1st tri the things I'd learnt helped me to keep a lid on the nerves. Maybe part of it is fear of the pain etc of labour? I'm sure there must be tracks out there to help, worth a google?
