Hi all, well I'm basically worried to death about the consultant suggesting I have a cesarean after I had a traumatic birth last time, I had to have a vountuse so they gave me 3rd degree tear after baby was too big and then lost a lot of blood afterwards anyways I was bracing myself to having a calm natural birth this time round but they're suggesting to have a csection as they're concerned I might tear again.

Should I be as concerned as I am about having a cesarean?
What are your experiences those who have had it?

I had an emergency section with my first which was quite traumatic and I was surprised by the length of time for recovery. I understand an elective section is much more straightforward.
