38 and BFP

Bought a pregnancy test/ ovulation test kit just to see when I ovulate. Today is the first day of my cycle (no period, 15-18 DPO) and I decided just out of boredom to take an ovulation test and it was a very dark positive so I grabbed a couple of pregnancy strips and boom BFPs! I’m in shock and nervous at this age due to one miscarriage last year and nothing since. Will be a great Christmas gift to the families.

Congratulations! That will be a great Christmas gift. Just to hopefully give you some hope after your miscarriage, after an ectopic at age 37 and a miscarriage at age 39 I carried my daughter at 40 and did not miscarry her and I carried my son who was frozen as an embryo at my age of 38 and delivered him at age 43. Enjoy being pregnant and enjoy the presence of their life every day you have them as long as you have them with you.
