38 weeks and 4 days

Was just wondering, how did some of you ladies feel at 38 weeks pregnant? I'm currently 38 weeks and 4 days, due December 1st, and have only felt pressure below. Since this is my first pregnancy, I don't know what to expect/feel. What changes did you notice with your body that labour is near and with your 1st pregnancy did your baby arrive right on the due date, early, or late?

Hi there. First time momma here and almost to 39 weeks. I've had period pains and increasing BH for the past 2 weeks. I'm losing bits and pieces of plug but no bloody show yet. Every night I think I'm in labor due to my painful BH but it all goes away in the morning. Where is my baby? lol

I have zero labour signs! No BH, no period pains, no mucous plug sightings, and no show yet. I'm finishing up at work this week, so I think my body is letting me finish one thing before I move on to another!

Lots of contractions, lost my mucus plug and had my bloody show after my membranes were stripped

Hi Island27,
I'm due on 12/1 also! I have had period-type cramps maybe once or twice a day, but they come and go within minutes and don't have any pattern. Getting more BH contractions too. Other than that, no signs. Other than being really crabby and irritable for the last 4 days or so
I'm hoping Baby waits until his due date since I have lots to do before he arrives.

Also, I realized that my baby has dropped because yesterday I was able to finish my whole lunch. I hadn't been able to eat more than a few bites in one sitting because Baby was smashing my stomach, but now he's lower so I can eat.

I'm due Dec 2nd. I've just been getting period type pains on and off the past few days but no mucus plug or anything yet. Just impatiently waiting trying to keep busy. Got a feeling I'll go overdue as its my first x

im 38 weeks today (as if im saying that already!!), and been having period type cramps here and there - getting my hopes up in the process! Also more BH - and stronger. Im hoping, as long as babba is ready, that I go early - had a growth scan and apparantly baby is big enough and I can't take another 2 weeks of throwing up and heartburn

Ive just turned 39 weeks and i havent really experienced much. No period pains but more discharge than normal. I think he's dropped as i can eat more and i can feel lots of pressure in my pelvis (it hurts so much). Cant imagine him coming soon, got a feeling we're going over. Has anyone not had any significant signs and then suddenly just gone into labour??? x

I'm due on 1st Dec too! Pretty much the same in terms of BH and cramps in the evenings but all subsided by morning. I'm the most impatient person so finding this waiting game infuriating!! Good luck to you all xx
