39 yr old,Cd 1 first iui virgin, with thyroid antibodies Can I have a buddy please xx

You tested at 8DPiui? Way too early!:haha:
You are still in with a chance:happydance:

:hugs:
I've already done 3 IUIs, so have to go on a break now from all the meds:blush:
Good luck on your 2nd IUI:flower:

hi quaver, how long will your break be?and when do you intend starting icsi?
Today is cd4 for me, was at clinic yest and she gave me one extra gonal f injection to take to help boost womb lining.
I think I will see if I can defer my 3rd iui for a while(nhs funded) and go private for ivf next cycle as they offer steroid therapy for women who have had 3 early miscarriages.. there is new research to suggest that having thyroid antibodies( which I have, a pre thyroid condition called hashimotos disease..) almost always means there are natural killer cells in the uterus and so taking steroid therapy pre conceprion ant until 12-13 weeks gestation lowers the chances of miscarriage...
I'm trying to get my fs who is supervising my iui to prescribe them this cycle I will find out tomorrow, but I am sure the answer will be no., its out of her area of expertise...
developments coming soon....
Btw guys what are you all planning for the big 4.0 this year?
are you celebrating or letting it slip by quietly and unnoticed lolxx

The break is only this cycle, and hoping for ICSI next cycle depending on when I ov. I will be on short protocol, so it'll start from CD1. I may be abroad with work around then, in which case it'll have to be the following cycle:blush:
