3d/4d at 15 weeks to determine gender

I originally had my ultrasound scheduled for 16 weeks but I have to attend a funeral next week so I switched my appointment to this week. Do you think they'll be able to tell this week or has anyone else found out this early?

I found out that Im having a girl at 15 weeks exact Im sitting here waiting on an ultrasound right now and Im going to ask for the gender again to make sure

Didnt want to r&r, but i dont know. I would think they'll be able to tell though, at the private scans very often they give a pretty definite gender guess at the 12 wk scan,so id think by 15 weeks that should be even more so the case.

Saying that though,iv seen tickers that at 16 weeks say something like"my gender can now bedetermined by an u/s".

Il be interested to know though, as i really want to get one done. By the way, i thought they didnt do 4d ones til about 22 weeks or something, only ask as id like ton get one asap, but most websites dont let u book til further along, i guess so u see more??

If your baby is cooperating and they can get a good shot then they can tell. Drink orange juice before

I had mine at 15+2. And you were very clearly able to see on mine that it was no doubt a girl. If it was a boy would have some very odd looking parts. Some technitians are able to tell at 12 weeks when the gender is visible. Very exciting you are goting to find out. Hope it is a great experience for you. I also think that 3D scans are easier to tell cause you can see so much more. On the 2D I had a little bit of difficulty seeing, was able to faintly see 3 lines, but when popped back to 3D it was no doubt a girl. Clear as day could see.

we went to the ultrasound last night and after about an hour of trying to position the baby we were informed that she's a girl

My oldest I was told at 13 weeks she was a girl. This time around I had a 15 week scan and could plainly see it is a girl Go for it!
