3rd baby, still stuck on names! *update*

I really like Una, think it's a lovely name.

What about Luna? A 4 letter name like Evie, starting with L like Lucas, and has Una in it!

This idea is actually prefect in every way.

BUT

I told OH and he told me it is the name of a woman wrestler he thinks is ugly and its all he can think of so didnt even put it in the maybe pile


As time is getting closer and closer i have started to accept that a magic name isnt going to pop out.

I am starting to think of name i can see myself not hating and Isla is looking like a good choice. I know a few from baby groups in the past but not children iv ever seen again so at least that wouldnt be an issue

Ha ha, men! Isla is a lovely name and goes really well with your other children.

My DS and DD1 were both named well before birth, but DD2 was named after as we didn't know what we were having. If you're really struggling to find 'the one' I'd just do a shortlist and wait until she's born, and see if she suits a name.

Big Nyla vote here, for obvious reasons. Though ours is the Arabic name, meaning 'Likely to succeed'.

We wanted Isla too, but concluded it was far too popular (in the top 10 when LO was born), so we went for a similar-sounding name, and ended up preferring it - to me it's more punchy somehow.
