Hi im new here , I have 2 children aged 13 and 10 and me and my husband planning a baby for next year due a holiday we have booked in September. I had 40 hours of labour with my daughter when I was 16 got to pushing but didn't progress and then ended up with a emergency c section and then with my son which was 10 years ago I had trial of scar and after 13 hours of labour I had another emergency c section. After 2 days after my son my wound started bleeding cos there was a blood clot behind my scar and needed re opening and stitching back up. Now we are planning OUR first baby cos mine are from another relationship they have told me I will need another section but I am really worried. With my other 2 I was put to sleep but this time I would be awake...... Can someone help as I am a tad nervous lol x

hi Stacey, id wrote you a hugeeeeeeeeeee private msg only to find i couldnt post it to you, dont know why :0( hence to say i was a little miffed lol!!!!!

I have a 9 year old from prev realtionship he was a emcs, and last year me and my partner had our daughter by emcs, I have scar tissue and suffered a bladder tear (all was ok and all well now) I am 35 weeks tomo, with number 3 and I am booked for a planned c-section at 39 weeks due to fact consultant does not want another emcs if it can be helped, I still could go into labour myself prior to that date, I have been awake for all my c-sections and will be for the 3rd last year I was moments from being put to sleep though and that frightened me at the thought of that.

But being awake is good, at least OH can be in the theatre and they had music on and when baby comes out there is that moment you get to see and hear them... you are well monitored by an anaesthetist who if they are like the ones I had are very chatty and always handy with the camera when the time comes x

relax and you will be fine I am worried about my 3rd c-section but have been told that it being a planned one is a very different experience to a emcs.. as it is more relaxed and calm you;re not in labour etc or groggy off pain relief or gas and air...

YOU WILL BE FINE xxxx

Oh no not pregnant it's good to have so eons in same situation. Weebun can't wait to start trying the excitement takes over the fears........ Thanks for the support xx
