Hi, I was wondering what your 3rd sections were like after to recover, I'm not pregnant yet but hopefully will be soon....my first was and emergency @36wks and second was elective due to my diabetes @38wks.....both were good recoveries, I'm just a little concerned it may not be as easy to recover from a third?

In all honesty each recovery has gotten easier for me :) This one will be my 4th and hoping the trend continues xx

Honestly, I just had my 4th c-section in February, and each recover has gotten easier for me. As long as you try your best not to do very much while recovering you will be fine.

I had my 4th 13 days ago and can safely say this has been the easiest to recover from. Despite hubby returning to work 3 days later and me having a 2 year old at home.
I think because I'd had 3 before, I knew how to move to minimise pain etc and knew what I could and couldnt do, making it all easier in the long run.
I was out of bed, catheter out, dressed etc 5 hours after my baby was born which really helped and home the following day.
For me, each one has gotten easier. Good luck with your TTC! x

Hiya, I'm pregnant with number 3 and will be having my 3rd c section, first elective. I was worried at first but looking forward to it being less panicked than the other 2. I've heard positive things about recovering from 3+ sections x

This (my third) was the most difficult. This time I had my tubes tied but also I had to have my uterus repaired so recovery was quite painful. The 27th of this month will be two weeks since my surgery and I have just begun to be able to sleep on my sides again.

i hope it will be easy my first was a breeze didnt even take my pain meds tho second was a nightmerr hope this ones not bad

This is great to read this will be my third section first was emcs, second elcs as will be this time. I will have a 4 year old and 2 year old when I give birth so recovery was worrying me
