Hi All!

I had hoped I would never be here but here I am!
I recently had my 3rd MC in a row after TTC since Feb 2006.

Today I made an appointment with my GP for a referal to a specialist for tests of some sort. Has anyone had the same and what turned out to be wrong? I'm hoping it's nothing serious that can't be fixed!!

Looking forward to getting to know some of you and chatting to others
in a similar position.

i am so sorry for your lost:hugs:hope you find some answer darling :hugs:

First, I am so sorry for your losses. I too, have lost three pregnancies. What they have "guessed" is wrong with me, based on the few tests they have done, is low progesterone. So, they put me on Clomid. Even though, I ovulate, low progesterone makes you ovulate late, and AF to come early. Also, there isn't enough progesterone to sustain a pregnancy. Clomid makes a stronger corpus luteum, and the corpus luteum is what produces progesterone. So, a stronger corpus luteum = increase in progesterone. I am also on progesterone supplements for the week and a half after ovulation. I want more tests tho, because I am not sure if I am diagnosed properly.

I am reading a very excellent book right now. I recommend it for ANY woman who has had one or more m/c. It is called "TO FULL TERM" 'A MOTHERS TRIUMPH OVER MISCARRIAGE', by DARCI KLEIN.

That is what happened to me too. I had 3 miscarriages in 9 months. My doctor prescribed me progesterone to take right after ovulation. Then this cycle he prescribed me Clomid. This is my first cycle with the Clomid. If it didn't work this month, then I have to go back and get looked at and he will discuss going up on the dose. Good luck and I am sorry to hear of your losses.
