Hello all,
Lost post warning![Smile :) :)](/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
My wife and I have no experienced our 3rd lost early pregnancy and found out on Monday.
The 1st pregnancy we found out March 2013 and by April we had to do a D&C because they saw something unusual and a second heart beat at about 9weeks. We were sent to the genetic consular for second thoughts. Turned out there was a set of conjoined twins. With the odds what they are were choose to terminate the pregnancy that same week. My wife was very strong but took it hard and it was difficult until the due date passed. We were told there is no genetic cause for conjoined twins and our next pregnancy will be fine...
The 2nd pregnancy was just last year we found out at the end of June 2014. We went back to the same DR this time and things were on track just fine until the 10w appt. when they measured over 6mm of fluid behind the neck of the baby we were told to come back in 2 weeks to see if it continues to grow or if it stabilizes. At about 14 weeks we were given the the options of tests of a AMENO and CVS. We also went to the same DR who is in Maternal & Fetal Medicine. We did both and the CVS came back positivity for one of the big 3 chromosomal abnormalities. Long story short we did the CVS the following that however the results take 2 weeks to return.. We found out the baby had turner syndrome and would have very difficult pregnancy and would most likely not going to go full term. The D&C was done by the same DR. at the 17 week mark and again told there are no connection to conjoined twins and turner syndrome.
And Now to Monday... We found were expecting and due at the end of November this year. As soon as my wife found out we schedule an appt. with the same DR who had done the D&C to be consular for us and help easy our worries so we went in at about 5-6 week mark to confirm the HPT and they were able to see the yolk sack but no baby so they told us to come back in 10 days to see if things changed. The day before our appt. my wife experienced really serve stomach pains and cramping so we go in to the ER per the nurse on the hot line. They knew we were expecting however they did not test or do an ultra sound to check the baby and diagnosed she had the stomach flu. The next day at our appt they again had trouble and measured the baby to be at about 6 weeks when it should have been around 8 according the LMP They told us to return in 2 weeks( this last Monday) and we should be able to see a heat beat and a fetus growing. They couldn't see a heart beat and the fetal pole measured to about 6wks the bad part our regular DR who had be there for us the last 2 pregnancy was off on Monday. We have talked to her yesterday and she wants us to wait and hopes the miscarriage will happen naturally. Again she doesn't think there is any connection to all 3 cases conjoined, turner, and as we know right now a this.
Has anyone ever heard of the such a difference in causes for these to happen?
