4+4...shooting pains and aches...Normal??

Hi

I suppose due to having a mc, I may be a little paranoid but I generally feel really well, very tired, I have slept 12 hrs the last two nights!
Feel great, boobs sore and nipples too but as I was cooking lunch i had a few sharp shooting pains. Is this normal. Also tops of my legs, groin area feels funny...maybe everything stretching!

Anyone similar at the same stage as me????

I definitely had lots of aches and period pains at that stage. It's just your body changing.

Yep I've had the shooting pains. Uterus is trying to work out where it's going to grow into

I had lots of pains in early pregnancy - bout the same time as you. They were worse than period pains & I refused paracetomal!!! silly I know! Def sounds like it's your uterus.

Hi Lotti,

I too am 4 + 4 and have sore boobs, sleepy and also have dull aches in top of leg/groin area on right hand side - went to doctor and he felt stomache and said not to worry about it. This is my first so I dont know what I am supposed to feel, but lots of people have said its probably just stretching etc.

Try not to worry too much - although I know thats easier said than done

I tell my DH that he's not alone anymore....The little bean is giving me lots of aches in pains in my Uterus just like the pain in the neck he gives me!!

Excellent replies! Thanks girls...went to bed and had a sleep...got too hot and had funny dreams....boobs feel more sore every day and looked at them earlier, dh says they are darker round the nipple and blotchy and veiny.....sounds good so far xxxxx

Your symptoms sound exactly the same as mine at that time. When I was around 5 weeks I woke up really hot and made the mistake of getting straight in the shower. I felt light headed, very sick and almost fainted, quite scary. I also had a lot of spasms and aches and slept for England. I really struggled to do a full day at work and by early afternoon I could have easily slept at my desk. I would come home from work, go to bed, eat my tea in bed, then go back to sleep. You just have to do what your body wants! Don't get me started on the funny dreams, I've had some wierd ones too!!

I'm having some funky pains and aches at the moment too. Not so much like period pain for me (very severe period pain sufferer) and I am happy they arent that bad. But im in the same boat, its my first time and I've got no idea what Im meant to expect.

I know, you sit there thinking..... is that normal? and as I cant tell anyone at work yet, Im trying to act 'Normal' , when all I want to do is sleep at my desk and moan that I feel ill

Today I have been feeling a bit sickly, and my temperature was up at 37.5c so I was trying to find out if that was normal , then to make matters worse, my stomache is gurglng like mad, and have had loose bowel movements (sorry - TMI ), so I am unsure what my body is doing at the moment

doesnt help when the dr doesnt want much to do with you and tells you to prepare for the worse. Makes me run to to toilet after each pain to make sure im not bleeding

been feeling like this too, everytime i sit down i want to sleep LOL, i am 5weeks+5 today when i woke i had pink spotting when i wiped (tmi)was told by EPU to wait till thurs and take another preg test ive already had scan last thurs and yolk and sac could be seen.
any views would be appreciated

Yes it seems that the doctors aren't too interested til about 8 weeks????

Mine just said call the mid-wife in 3 or 4 weeks time and arrange for your first appointment? And the doctors are getting so much younger too ......or is it that I am getting older?? hee hee

I am the same everytime I get a pain or a 'wet' feeling (TMI - I know), I am off the visit the toilet to check what is happening down there

All I can say is that I think 5 wks is too soon to see baby....my scan last time was around then and all they could see was yolk and sac...said it was too early for baby yet...FX xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Me too exactly and even tho my wee is dark I look at it on the paper to be sure its not anything else....cant be helped. Its bloody scary stuff esp after a mc!!!
