I had a hemmoridge after birth and now annemic I have iron tablets, I have been given antibiotics for an infection today and my bleeding is on off bright red and slimy with some clots in exhausted tired dizzy with Pains in my joints especially along the side of my right little finger and my milk has come in in left but right side I have a red sore painful patch I'm bottle feeding I have the midwife coming tomorrow and been to the Drs today I just feel like I've had enough I can't enjoy my baby and I have this irrational fear of dying abs leaving my 3 baby's behind please tell me this gets better :(

That sounds like a lot to deal with! Huge :hugs: I believe day three is quite bad for the baby blues, it does get better! I hope your iron tablets and antibiotics kick in soon and you can start feeling better. In the meantime is there anyone that can help while you get some rest?

Promise, it does get better. It will gradually get better and you will enjoy your baby. I had an urgent forcep delivery and ended up with 4th degree tear (300+) stiches, left incontinent, anemic, pp infection in wound and a urine infection. It was hell and I hated it. My midwife was great and let me unleash all my misery on her. Be kind to yourself, take pain killers regularly, take your iron tablets (they are your savior!) Drink plenty, snack on little bits often to keep your energy up rest. Leave housework, leave doing your hair and just chill out with your new bubba. The fog and fatigue will clear soon. Even after all I had, I went on and had another who is now 8 months old. Chin up :-) big hugs xx

Thank you so much you don't realise what you have just done for me, I've been extremely sad and poorly and just could not see the light at the end of the tunnel. I am trying to rest and take it easy the dizziness is awful and I'm completely exhausted but I will just keep going and hope it won't be long untill the worse is over xxxx

I'm sorry about your hemorrhage! I had a severe hemorrhage after my 2nd child and it was a very scary experience. The bleed took the energy out of me for AWHILE. My body seemed to have a lot of issues after that. I also encountered periodic fears and anxiety about dying after my bleed for about 2 weeks. And it did take awhile to recover. I hope you are able to just rest in a bed with your baby...I was able to rest in bed for over a week and it really helped. By 2 weeks I was finally moving around better and by 1 month post partum I finally felt normal and could do some light exercise.

Please take it easy, rest all you can. I hope you are able to rest alone in a bed with your baby and have someone to help you.

thnk you today i have been in bed all day but the bleeding has got heavier and darker red passed a clot this morning but i had just woken up so hoping its just down to pooling in my sleep. im still exhausted and i feel a bit week and dizzy. im hoping another few days and il feel better i have the midwife coming tomorrow because baby had lost 10% of body weight so will let her know how im feeling just hoping it all gets better soon my husband has 2 more weeks off then i will need to feel better so i can take my kids to school etc xxx

This is totally of topic but I had a 4th degree tare with my daughter and I'm pregnant again, did you go on to have a vaginal delivery or did you have a section? If you had a vaginal delivery at what week did you have it and was you induced? X

You poor thing. It will get so much better and you will be just fine! My first I had an emcs with pre eclampsia after 26 hour induction. I was a mess. Ended up re hospitalized with pulmonary edema (water in lungs) a few days later and told I was in heart failure! I'll never forget how I felt that night and how much I cried thinking I was going to die. Turned out I wasn't in heart failure, I just had an abundance of fluid over load from induction and pre eclampsia. However it scared me so much that when I got home I developed anxiety that lingered for a long time. I too thought I would die randomly and my baby would be alone. Well, I went on to have 2 more kids after that ( currently pregnant with #3) and my second delivery was amazing! Nothing at all like my first. Everything was perfect and I healed from all that drama and now it's just ancient history, as yours will be. Hang in there, it's temporary and common you will be just fine give yourself some time xx

I had a c-section at 38 weeks as was told I could not deliver normally. Had an endoanal ultrasound that showed 50% scar tissue to both sphincter muscles in bowel so they would just tear again. I would speak to your consultant and ask for thorough checks to make sure it won't happen again x

Thank you, it's now 10 days the lochia turned brown but I woke last night to a small gush of red blood that's continuing today. I hate the feeling of feeling damp and it's horrible I have to take my older two kids to and from school so can't rest completely I'm hoping it settled again soon xx
