4 miscarriages back to back

I am feeling so down at the moment. Since feb i have had 3 chemical pregnancies and 1 early loss at 5+3 all one after the other.It took 8 weeks for af to arrive after the last miscarriage and i have not fallen pregnant again since. I have 3 children and dont understand why this is happening I am currently 9dpo and am already getting BFN on ic am i out again this month Any advice please

Would you go to the dr and get your bloods tested on cd 21 and see what your hormone levels are like.
i've had 6 m.cs and i'm pregnant again and looks like i'm going to lose this one. So i'm done, but best of luck x

Im sorry for your losses My GP isnt the easiest of doctors to talk to and so far hasnt been much help but im hoping the more i pester her the sooner she will get fed up and do something about it.

I lost four in a row after having our daughter, but I have lupus and had a miscarriage and a complicated pregnancy with my daughter. Its very frustrating and so emotionally painful and stressful. Have they done any testing on your progestrone? A lot of early miscarriages are because of that. Also maybe see if they will test you for clotting disorders. Extra Folic acid can be taken with a prenatal and that may be helpful for you too. Good luck!

with my last miscarriage my progesterone was only 2 so they knew i was going to loose it other than that ive had no other testing done it is something that i am going to speak to my gp about though.

I also have kids and I have had 3 losses in 8 months. Dr said its bad luck, nothing can be wrong since I have kids BS. Sept 2011 I had a d&e I was suppose to be 11 weeks but had a mmc(blight ovum) gestational sac measured 5.5 weeks, had a yolk sac but no fetal pole. I had a total off 3 scans an at each one the sac grew in size so I had a little hope that just maybe this would progress properly.

Jan 2012 I had a natural miscarriage. Not really sure how far I was since I was waiting for my period to return and it never did. So at the earliest I was at least 5-7 weeks.

6 months after my d&e in Sept 2011 and 2 months after my natural miscarriage and 2 months of periods I was pregnant. June 1st I went for a scan I was 13.2 weeks and found out my baby's heart had stopped beating, baby had recently died b/c my baby measured what she should have. I had a d&e a couple days after. a week and a half later I had 2 units of blood and a repeat d&e. I found out from testing there was nothing wrong with my baby and that my baby was a little princess.

Knowing the sex made it harder for me b/c I have always wanted a little girl and I was starting to think my hub wasn't able to make them. I suspected I was having a girl and I just can not accept her loss or my other 2 angels losses.

I am terrified at getting pregnant again. I am on the pill and waiting for my period to return. I will be on the pill until oct of this year. so hopefully my body can heal and carry a baby again without losing the pregnancy.

I am so sorry for your losses. I can definitely relate. I also have 3 children and have had 5 miscarriages since my last was born, all within the last 18 months (one at nearly my 2nd tri, and the most recent an ectopic that took my tube with it). I had 2 miscarriages before my 1st child and I thought I was "done" with having trouble, but I was totally wrong.

I had all the testing done and nothing came back abnormal until my FIL (who did this because my OB wouldn't) wanted to further test my thyroid, and it looks like I may have Hashimoto's, so that could definitely be my problem. I believe I had to have developed it after my last child was born, just based on some of the ways my life changed. So I am on thyroid now as well as working to reverse the autoimmune issues.

hi elochin! your lucky you had 3 children now! i have a 5 y.o daughter and got 2 miscarriages after discovering i have a goiter or enlargement of the thyroid gland. i thought b4 that my 2 mcs were related to my goiter. but my doc said it's not coz my TSH level is normal. now, i'm 5 weeks pregnant and i already met many women who had conceived many kids even if they had goiter. i pray that my goiter will not affect my pregnancy. but if i'll be unlucky again, i'll have my thyroid removed and hope to conceive another baby
but i have doubts in mind. can i still have baby if i have no thyroid gland anymore and taking thyroid replacement? those who read this, if you know the answer, pls dont hesitate to reply. thanks a lot!

Natty- I had 4 losses in a row over a 13 month period. Went in for all the RPL testing after my 3rd loss and the docs really could not find a reason for the losses. My last pregnancy they found at my first appt that my pregnant progesterone level was not where it should be, it was only a 10. Bu the time i started taking the progesterone i think it was already too late. I am now pregnant with #5 and started taking progesterone at 5 DPO. So hopefully this one will stick! I would suggest starting your testing and if you do get pregnant start taking progesterone right after ovulation just as a precaution. Good luck!
