4 Wks Bloat Belly!

Hello, ladies! Anyone else having major bloat? I'm almost too big for all my pants already, and yesterday, I had a colleague giving me a meaningful look after glancing at my protruding tummy... Ugh!

I am overweight. I carry more weight in my middle anyway, but this is downright ridiculous. I have 5 more inches around my waist, but all my other measurements (hips/neck/arms) are the same as they were before bloat happened. I also weigh exactly the same.

I've been strict on my diet since I discovered I was pregnant, drinking more water, and walking several times a day.

Do you have any recommendations? Will I be able to balance myself out?

I don't actually have any real recommendations or insight into what will happen later (first pregnancy for me), but I can sympathize!

I'm on progesterone supplements which makes me SUPER EXTRA bloated. It's a pain. Progesterone naturally increases in early pregnancy so yours is up too! It's uncomfortable, but not much you can do about it.

Things that help me are just mild exercises like going for a walk or swimming. It doesn't make it go away though.

It's annoying sometimes. But I have to admit, I sort of like it a little too. Makes me FEEL pregnant. lol

Ah, thanks! That's true, I do like feeling pregnant- I don't think I'm going to have any issues with "showing."

Its perfectly normal chick, my belly was bigger weeks 6-8 than it is now. It literally doubled on size. Its back to normal now. Don't worry it will go on its own soon and make way for your baby bump xx

Oh lord yes i only usually have a small muffin top but its doubled now. I don't look pregnant i just look fat cuz its all wobbly

Whew! Very glad to hear that it's normal. I discovered today that my omega-3 pills were causing a lot of the gas pains I was experiencing. I need to find a different pill to take.

Yes at 4 wks feels like my stomach is bloated beyond belief.

i also have bloat going on & got this with both previous pregnancies too it went down at around 7-8 weeks last time
