well i took my last lot of soy 11 days ago no pos opk's so not holding out much hope tbh.

on the plus side i saw my dietician last week and she was stunned that my gyno didn;t give me metformin and she asked me to speak to my gp, which i did and she was also very surprised by it, she;s asked me to mention it to my gyno and see what he says. the gp also said to say they they both thought i should be on it

she said she can't really make that desicion without his say so but will bring it up in a meeting this month and if my gyno still won't give it to me then she'll try her best.

i'm impressed that at least they are being supportive even if my gyno isn't lol

brandy how are you getting on with the soy this month?

and when is bunni coming back!?!

Married, 32years, 2 sons and currently pregnant. Got pregnant on the 1st month of trying..! but I really didnt expect it..With my previous pregnancies I was only 10pounds above my normal weight. But this time I am almost 30lbs OVERWEIGHT I feel really miserable. Had lost about 15lbs but regained after going to my native country !!

Anyway, I am 6weeks or so pregnant. Still my MW has not given me an app.
I am pretty much sure she is gonna make me go on a diet But I hope not !!

Hoping to hang around with you all... GL !

Hey ladies. Thought I'd check in and give everyone an update. DH and I have refrained from trying to get pregnant right now because I had to cancel my insurance for the time being. I'm going to reinstate it ASAP though. Just a quick question though. Since DH and I aren't doing the deed as much right now, can that affect our chances of getting pregnant?

Hi ladies - sorry I haven't posted for a while, I have been popping in every now and then though.

Just thought I would give you a little update about what's been happening the last few weeks.

My GTT at 28weeks came back negative which I was pleased about. When I saw my midwife at 29wks she struggled to measure my tummy because of my flab and she couldn't feel which way round LO was laid. On the growth chart she put her within the two lines but at the lower end. I was already booked in for a growth scan at 32wks and she said depending on the results of that she might refer me for another one at 36wks.

When I had the scan, she was still measuring a bit small, so my consultant wanted me to go back for another scan in 2wks rather than 4. She was weighing around 3lbs 9ozs.

I knew before we went into the room at 34wks that she'd had a growth spurt because I felt so much bigger and heavier - I also knew she had turned and was now head down because I saw her turn a couple of days before. Anyway I was right on both counts - she had put on almost 2lbs and now weight 5lbs 5ozs, and was most definitely head down with her foot in my ribs lol.

My consultant was happier now that she is more in the middle of the 2 lines and has booked me in for one final scan at 38wks rather than 36wks - I just hope the growth slows a little else she will be almost 11lbs by the time I hit 40wks lol!!!

I have attached a pic from my scan at 32wks - I'm so pleased with how clear it is, she looks so pretty

BigBetty -- I'm loving that scan pic!! And WOAH on the 2 pound gain in such a short time. I'll keep my fingers crossed for a baby a couple pounds shy of 11. Ouch!

I realized this morning I'm starting to show already! I think it's mainly bloat, or maybe it's all the holiday cookies I baked & ate this weekend. Here's hoping it's the beginning of a baby bump and not just me getting really fat really fast.

i noticed more creamy cm with in the last 2 days just didnt think anything of it, but i read on FF that its supposed to be more dry after O .............is this a good sign, does this usually happen before a pregancy or am i just weird lol?
