43 soon & 3 chems / 1 mmc - hope needed -any rainbow baby stories?

Hi Ladies, I'm 43 in October and truly blessed with 3 beautiful LO's. Have been trying since May 2013 for the final addition to complete our family - had 3 chemicals (December, March, May) and currently at 8 weeks waiting for mmc to start due to no hb. I'm usually a very optimistic person and always see the ++ in any situation but am feeling pretty hopeless, isolated and alone at the moment! Whereas before I felt like I only needed one good egg and taking a ton of supplements thought would do it but I'm now feeling like mother nature is trying to tell me something and keep thinking if I get PG again it's just going to be another mc ............. does anyone have any stories of someone of similiar age with recurrent mc who has gone on to have a healthy rainbow baba to give me some hope?

I had 2 children followed by 1 mmc, 3 blighted ovums and 2 more children. Then I went on to have 1 chem, 1 blighted ovum, 1 child, 1 blighted ovum, 1 child and just had my 2nd mmc. I see the doctor tomorrow to make sure it's all done then no matter what the young hag says, I'm going to ttc again. I will be 44 in Oct.

HI momof5wants1 - I'm so sorry I only just saw your reply!! I actually thought no one had replied and was feeling a bit sad that no one had any good luck stories so it's lovely to hear yours! Sounds like you have really been through the mill with mmc's and blighted ovums but equally had great success building your family. I have had good luck getting my three LO's and am so grateful but was really thinking was at the end of the line after 3 chems and a mmc so you have really given me hope! Also I had my follow up scan today and the nurse said there was no evidence that you are more fertile after mc but she has seen 'loads of women' get pregnant straight after mc so fingers xd for the two of us!

the nurse doesn't know squat. LOL, they have found that right after a m/c or giving birth, a woman is more fertile. She sounds old school.

Hey Oasis how you doing sweetie? I'm good hun thanks for asking, Feeling much more positive about things these days and currently in the camp of what is meant to be is meant to be! Since the mmc I kind of feel like I should be very grateful for what I do have (my 3 gorgeous LO's) and am thinking life is too short to get hung up on ttc and am trying to just go with the flow! -- Life has been crazy past few months -- we moved over from Ireland to London in June (we are originally from London but moved to Ireland 6 years ago to be nearer family and then couldn't stand the rain & lack of jobs so we came home to London), came back, got a fab new job which has been pretty full on and then PG & mmc so it's all been a bit crazy!! & I feel like I really just want to enjoy being in London again and not spend my time obsessing about ttc (haha that is easier said than done - I'm still doing OPK's and planning timing of DTD!! lol) Re ttc I thought I was O last weekend but sorry for TMI since THursday have had tons of EWCM (loas more than usual) and am really tender in the uterus area and am wondering if last week was just my body warming up and am due to O in next day or so!? V odd - have made sure to DTD & will keep that going every 2 days now just to make sure we have covered our bases.

If u don't mind me asking how did you find your cycles after your miscarriages hun? Did you O at different times than expected and did you have a noticeably stronger O? Hope you are well Oasis - how are you feeling abotu the whole ttc lark hun?

Hey luv, so nice to hear from you xx wow things def have been mad for you haven't they, I'm really glad to hear you're in a good place re TTC, I think you've got the best attitude and I'm sure I try too hard sometimes! I didn't think the CP's did mess with my cycles but looking back on my charts I think maybe my lp was a bit shorter so I'm not really sure what to expect this cycle (am 8dpo today) I ovulated as normal CD 15, I've got pretty much no symptoms and I've not managed to get pregnant back to back, I'm not sure how I feel one minute I'm accepting of things next minute I'm scared I won't be able to have anymore!xxxxxxx

I looked at your thumbnail of your chart and it looks promising with that dip. I noticed that my near symptomless cycles were the ones I got preggers. Here's hoping we all get our rainbows.

Oh gosh will have to watch out for that this cycle to see if LP is shorter. With each of my 3 chems I seemed to be anovalutory before next period & then got PG again next month straight after & same thing with mmc so god knows what is going on with me! I'm a bit like u some days I think it will never happen cos I will just keep having chems & mc's (that feeling is stronger after 4 in a row!) and other days I'm sure it will happen. Overall I just think its good to stay positive and not dwell on it otherwise I think u don't enjoy the time with the children u have already! & u can never get those years back xx I really really do think it will happen for u though hun as u keep getting PG - other ladies seem to even struggle with that so I think it must be a good thing that our bodies are trying!! Anyway stay positive hun and just keep trying that is all we can do xx

Finally started my first af after the m/c. Going to be temping once it's over and using OPKs. Only been 34 days since I started bleeding with it. Been feeling the pms crap for almost 10 days. Ready to get back in the swing of things.

Def gunna stay positive sunshine I do believe we will all get our rainbows but it may just take some timexxxxx hopefully if we all stay around we can see that happen, that would be lovely xxxxxwe def have great luck in at least being able to get pregnant we just need to get that elusive good egg! Afm - cd 29 today and I have no idea whats going on. I thought I might have O'd earlier this week but I'm still getting twinges in my right ovary so surely if I had O'd the twinges would have gone away = no idea whats going on so just taking a relaxed approach to it all and waiting for af to come in next week or week after, whenever she shows her face! Anyway babydust to both xxxxx

CD 6 and still having intermittent spotting. Should start showing signs of ovulation in about 5 days or so, I'm an early bird usually between cd 11 & 14, so I'm getting ready for that. DH on the other hand, decided to be a pain and said he didn't want to ttc after all. Makes me want to choke him.

AF came for me after a v confusing couple of days with pink cm that id never had before, silly me both my hopes up despite my rubbish temps! Was a bit upset but feel OK now and trying to be positive for this next cycle xxxxxxxx
