Well I had my baby girl on June 22nd via csection(unplanned). I was induced due to her flipping back and forth in breech position. She was head down that morning, and by afternoon she went breech again. Ugh! So they had to do a csection.
So now I'm 5 days postpartum. I think I may have overdone it yesterday...and today I feel major pain like a pulled muscle or something when I stand, and walk around. My incision isn't really that painful...but I feel pain when I use the bathroom sometimes...and the pulled muscle feeling is located on my left side of my belly button.
My question is...what is normal pain for this stage postpartum?
I can handle the pain...but since I've never had a csection until now, I'm worried that something might be wrong...and I want to be careful that I'm healing properly.
Also, due to the way my daughter was positioned they had to also do a vertical incision(under the skin into the muscle/uterus)...as well as the bikini cut.
So maybe this is the pain I'm feeling?
Any tips on what is normal or what I can expect would be sooo greatly appreciated! Thank you sooo much!!

I felt the same pain after mine, like a pulling feeling from inside, it was sore when getting out of bed and trying to walk around. My MW told me it was the stitches on the inside, you are stitched in there with dissolving ones and that is them starting to heal and knit together so you feel everything pulling, takes a couple of weeks for it to go away

Oh thank you so much for your response!!! It has really helped ease my concerns! I appreicate it!!!

I had and sometimes still have the same thing. All I ever needed was Motrin and I'm still taking it and it really helped to keep up with the pain meds.

Congrats!

hey, well i still feel pain four weeks on but trust me its easier each passing day, there was alot of pulling and tugging involved and you know that there are layers of flesh worked on during a section right? so your stitches are still dissolving and your body is so newly post partum too but rest assured that pain is completely normal, heck i was having back spasms from the spinal for the first three days and needed codeine and paracetamol for three weeks only now can i just take paracetamol but thats probably because I had pre eclampsia and still have it post partum as it takes time to go. give your body time to heal and drink plenty of water and try to walk around a little bit each day too
