5 days late and possible temp drop?

Ok so I'm about 5 days late for AF, and took my BBT...which is NOT something I have been doing consistantly at all! My temp was at (taken with a digital thermometer) 84.6,84.5 etc...and now it's 97.8...that being said...I haven't taken it at the exact same time everyday, or anything...so my question is, do you ladies think I could still have a possible BFP with this particular temp? I haven't been charting, just taking my temp on occasion out of curiosity. I am late, and there are NO signs of AF arriving (which I usually have cramps/back ache)...any thoughts??

Sorry, you dont say whether you have actually used a hpt yet??

Surely you must have tested at 5 days late??

Temps do not indicate anything at all if they are just randomly taken.

I actually haven't tested in a week! I am waiting as long as I possibly can! I tested at 12 DPO and it was a BFN, so I thought I would have a better chance of an accurate read if I left it a little longer. Also, I'm waiting for my pregnancy test strips to arrive in the mail But who know's AF might show up before they arrive...I'm hoping that THIS is my month though...cautiously optomistic lol!

hahaha yeah I am doing the happy dance waiting for those pregnancy tests to arrive in the mail!!!! eeeeeeeeeeek!!!! They can't come fast enough!!! It's the only reason I've waited THIS long...hahaha!

Usually when your temperature is taken with the proper thermometer the first time in the morning every day, your temperature will drop a day or two before AF comes. Because you are using a regular thermometer and only are only randomly takeing it, the fact that it went down might be nothing.
