Hi mums!
I'm not sure whether to take my Bub back to the doctor or not. She's 5 months old and has been having solid bowel movements for over a month now and there's always a lot of grunting and faces involved in the process😅 at her 4 month check I mentioned it (wasn't with her usual doctor) and he brushed it off and said it wasn't an issue. But everything I've read in online articles says it's not normal. She's started solids but only fruit purées once or twice per day, besides that she is breastfed. She has a bowel movement about every second or third day and they are now always solid but still mustard coloured... Sort of the consistency of peanut butter that's been in the fridge and gone hard (sorry for the visual lol). I feel she shouldn't have to strain so much to have a BM? And thought they should only be always solid after starting actual solid food? I have no issue taking her back to her usual doctor this week but don't want to sound silly if this is normal
