5 weeks and bleeding

I'm 5 weeks pregnant and started bleeding on Friday after noon with bright red blood, its Sunday and I'm still bleeding...haven't had any cramps and only seen 1 small clot. Is this a miscarriage? Anyone else ever have a miscarriage and no cramps or clots? I'm called the Dr. office Friday and they said I could be, and that all they could do is blood test to see because US wouldn't show anything. I thought for sure I was miscarrying so I didn't go in, but since I haven't passed any clots or had cramps, now I'm wondering...going to go in on Monday for blood work if I don't pass anything.

It still could be, especially if the blood is bright red. When I miscarried I did have some clots but didn't cramp too bad, except when I passed them all at once. My sister miscarried as well and no cramps or clots. Only your doctor will be able to tell you for sure.

When you miscarried did you still feel tired or 'hormonal'? Those were my only pregnancy symptoms and still feel that way. Also the bleeding only lasted2 days and never too heavy. Is that enough blood to miscarry?

Honestly I didn't have too many symptoms to begin with :/ but if your hcg levels are high enough I heard it can take time for them to drop back to normal so some women will still have symptoms. I was almost 7 weeks when I miscarried and bled for about 5 days. But I was also spotting brown before it turned red. And then with this pregnancy I spotted brown again and was heartbroken but all has been fine. I have heard of some people having bleeds and everything be ok. So hard to know for sure but I hope everything is ok!! Keep posted on how the doctor goes today.

I'm at 5 weeks 3 days with a loss two months ago! When i miscarried, it started with bright red blood when I wiped...then started cramping. By the time I got to the doctors, it picked up quickly...i started passing clots that night...and bled for four days...I miscarried early...this time, I started bleeding yesterday at 5 w 2 days, went in and saw a sac wiht no sign the blood was coming from uterine cavity...I still have light brown spotting when I wipe and my hcg levels at not doubling as frequently as they were...doctor assuerd me this could be okay and not to worry...spotting is very normal and hcg results are not as accurate as what they saw yesterday, a viable intrauterine pregnancy waiting for development...my hcg is at 3697 which they said is in the normal range for five weeks but cant help but worry! hang in there!
