5 weeks and worried

im 5 weeks pregnant and on tuesday i had a bleed that lasted approx 4 hours it was light and no blood clots but im worried about the chances of it being a miscarriage.

there hasnt been any cramping and ive not had another bleed. i have a gurgly tummy at the moment.

this is my first and possibly only pregnancy (ivf) and im terrified - we tried to get a scan but were advised that as its so early they wouldnt pick up a heartbeat so we have to wait til next weds when i will be 6 weeks.

I have bleeds some of the time and baby is fine if theres no pain i wouldnt worry too much. *massive hugs*

I pray everything goes well! I had IVF too and am about 5 weeks too. I know that some bleeding especially when not accompanied by cramps is not unexpected, so at least it has stopped. I hope they get to see a great growing little embryo there when you get your ultrasound. Try to stay rested and hydrated. Keep us posted!

I wouldn't stress too much hun unless it was accompanied with bad cramps. When I had my m/c I was in unbearable pain - there was no doubting that I was miscarrying.

Of course just keep an eye on it and if you freak out, demand a visit to the docs. Even if it's nothing, you will get peace of mind in knowing so.

Good news ladies
I had my scan yesterday and there was a little fluttering heartbeat.
there was a second sac but they couldnt detect a heartbeat so im going back on tuesday for a second scan.

Im sooo happpyyyyyyyy
