5days over due :(

Today is my due date. even though im really glad its my due date, im really disappointed in a way to get to this point as everyone in my family have their babies early and have never gone over, so looks like im gonna be the 1st.
Seeing MW tomorrow either to be given a sweep or get a date for a sweep, i didnt see my own MW at last appointmet so unsure if she will give me one tomorrow or make me wait a few days

Hey hun, happy due date

Midwife offered me a sweep for 40+7....which I refused.
But she gave me a leaflet about inductions and the membrane sweep, and if you dont have her by 40+12, that will more than likely be the day for your induction

Happy Due Date!! Aw I'm sure it won't be too long now. I had a couple of sweeps done before my little girl decided to make her way into the world. My fingers are crossed your little one decides to come out and see mummy soon!

I had back ache on and off all day, i got excited about that this morning but then it just kept happening but nothing else did

yes i had my 3rd show over the last few days, came away after DTD, done it a few more times but doesnt seem to get me any further and its so uncomfy u just feel like givin up with it now

Yes i know its weird, as up to your duue date even though yuo would like it to happen you know it prob wont. Once you got to due date you know you coudl start having contractions any second. May i ask how much over you wetn?

sorry to make it even worse but my girl was 10 days early ..i know i was getting irritated by that point already though so could imagine how you feel but i think its rare these days to have an early or on time baby but itl be soo worth the wait
just think,tonight is over nearly so another day gone byx

Yes thats a very good point soon it will be a max of 11 days until i see her.

yes i was fed up at that point 2 and now i still am but there aint anything i can do about it its up to her when she wants to come

i was lucky i kept saying ah i can see myself going overdue but then when my contractions started coming i was thinking omg go away,come back another day
