So i regularly check my cervix and usually after ovulation my cervix lowers but this month it's pretty high still. Only 5dpo almost 6 so I'm not sure if it could be a sign I conceived but I'm hoping so. Anybody have advice or similar things happen and find out they were pregnant?

Cervix position changes everyday and its different every cycle. So you really can't rely on that information to know whats going on. It's generally not recommended to check cervix regularly as it may disturb the natural pH levels and introduce unwanted bacterias inside the vagina. You can read more online.
Cervix is checked/monitored only when you are full term pregnant, to see if you're going into labor or not. Otherwise, doctors ask you to refrain from doing it. To check if you're in your fertile window or not, its best to monitor Cervical mucus and use OPKs and wait for 2 weeks to use a HPT (symptom spotting is painful, and I know its difficult not to do so, but its best to wait) Good luck
