5w4d ultrasound today

I wish I could post this photo all over lol! I went in expecting not too see much, but got to see everything- including a heartbeat of 120 bpm. I definitely wasn't expecting to see that beautiful little flicker!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so overcome with emotion (crazy coming from a pregnant woman right? lol)!

aww congrats..at 5w4d i only saw a yolk sac...so its great that u saw ur little bean flickering..is it by chance that u're already 6weeks?

So cute, I had a scan at 5+4 as well and I just saw a flicker of a hb, not enough for a trace tho. Congrats!

Thank you so much for your comments! I went in thinking I was exactly 6 weeks, but tech said I measured at 5w4d. Do you think it's possible I really am 6 but a little behind in development? I definitely didn't expect to see a heartbeat or have the lady be able to measure it. She was so kind though since she knew this was after a miscarriage, and she really wanted to measure the bpm for me. I am so glad she did!!!

Nice scan! Yes you could actually be six weeks! I went in at exactly 6 weeks and just seen a yolk and sac that was measuring 5 weeks, was a little worried but went back at 7+3 and seen a little blob with heart beat that was measuring my dates. In 10 days it had caught up a week!
They say that the measurements are not that accurate till you reach 12 weeks and even then they cant be perfect!

I'm glad you said that because 8 days ago I went to the doctor since I was freaking out. We were able to see the yolk sac. And I swear I could see a flicker from a little smidgen of a something nestled just near the yolk sac. My doctor didn't acknowledge it, but told me that's all she would expect to see at this time. My next scan is in 6 days and I can't wait to lay on that table again for another look!
