6 month + milk

At the minute Aliyah is on Aptamil Comfort milk.
She will be 6 months in 3 weeks.
What is the next stage milk? 6 month +?
Sounds like a stupid Q but did everyone else move their LO up at 6 months or is it like weaning. Even though the tin says 4+ ,you should wait longer?
Also is the 6month + milk the only option x

6mth + is usually classed as a follow on / growing up milk and is used from weaning if you want to.
It supposedly has more iron and stuff in it which they say babies start to lose their stores after 6mths which they had from birth.
If LO is on a good diet though (and they still need a good mixed diet with the follow on) I am not sure how necessary it is.
I never bothered with it for my first and he was a late weaned baby - 8mths before he was interested in any food going in.
I won't be doing it with LO either, she eats very well at 7mths so I am even less convinced but she is on SMA Staydown for reflux so I am reluctant to change her milk for every feed just in case it brings the sickness back.
You may find similar issues if LO still needs the comfort milk x

my tin of SMA Staydown says it is suitable up to 12mths of age.

We stayed with the newborn cow & gate milk, as the follow-on one made him constipated.
