6 Week Post Natal Check - She Checked Nothing!

Is this right?

The only thing she did do was check my blood pressure and asked me what form of contraception I would be using?

No feel of my tummy, no check down below either.....

Should I be concerned??

mine was the same , i also thought they checked u over but they just weighed me measured my height and blood pressure xx

Nope rubbish hey! My doctor even told me the whole point of appointment to sort out contraception!! Guess they don't want any more babies

I had mine at one week and again three weeks later (so the 4th week). The first week was just to check and make sure I was doing okay because I lost LOTS of blood during my section and passed out, my heartbeat was also over double what normal is.
The actual '6 week' check up was just like yours. I just got my birth control and they checked me over and asked me how I had been doing + I swelled up MAJOR after my hospital stay with him and they made sure all that was good.

mined seemed even more pointless as she didnt know about what pill i could go on breastfeeding and told me i have to go to see my doctor if i want to go on the pill i thought they at least new about contraception xxx

Me and Jack were both checked over, height and weight and then my blood pressure and contraception.
However our appointment was combined so maybe that's why he got checked over?

this was pretty much what happened when i had my 6wk check.

I didn't even get a six week check - Jacks six week appointment was cancelled due to his injections being due two week later, so I haven't been checked at all & have been told to 'pop in' when i'm on tho have a depo injection

yes i thought it was too, it wasnt what i thought it would be i thought theyd ask you loads of questions too to make sure your ok xx

yeah exactly.. Plus Im on tablets for PND and she didnt even ask how I was feeling with regards to that.. Luckily Im ok though and it didnt matter...

i was fuming after mine because i had an emergency c section and the doctor just asked about contraception i remember because i went to take my coat off also when my midwife signed me off she never checked my scar then i had to go to the nhs walk in centre

same with me, they never checked my scar at 6 week check or last mw appointment they should really
