6 weeks preg and worried

hello guys!
so i heard about this forum from a friend. I'm 6 weeks pregnant and have been having some problems. looking for a bit of peice of mind from some people who have maybe been though the same thing.

i started bleeding last sat and it hasnt stoped was in hosp on sun and they checked the neck of my womb it is still closed which is a good sign going for a scan on fri but im just really scared. i hope everything is ok but i cant be sure untill fri.

Just really worried and stressed.
any advice would be great!!

Welcome to the forum. I have found this to be a great place to air my fears etc.

Sorry I can't answer your problem or give help but if you post in first trimester you might find somebody who is in or has been in a similar situation.

Try not to be so worried, (I know that's easier said than done!) Apparently bleeding in early pregnancy is more common than people think and isn't always indication of a problem. I had it around 6 weeks too and again at 16 weeks and got told this at the hospital.

I freaked out at the time and was convinced something was wrong, but quite a few people I know mentioned they'd also been through the same thing and had otherwise normal pregnancies.

thanks so much guys. just knowing someone else has maybe been through the same thing really does put my mind at rest.
i just feel like im in limbo at the min cant get too happy incase things go wrong.

heya hunny, i unfortunately had the bleeding for around 4 weeks that started around 8 weeks pregnant i went for scans and they said everything was ok until i was bout 13 weeks when they found a hole in the sac and that was the reason i was bleeding i miscarried shortly after that but i had very slight bleeding with my other two pregnancies thats normal that ws jsut a worse case scenario there x

what is the bleeding like? is it heavy and lumpy? or just watery and light on wiping? ive been through the same thing twice x

the bleeding was very light with my two boys, with my miscariage it was brown to start with then heavier like a normal period til i miscariade then its really heavy with loads of clots and you get like contraction kinda pains with it well i did i dont know bout other people
