My LO went through a stage of doing this when she was about 4 months old. Not sure what caused it, maybe teething? She grew out of it in a few weeks but it drove me mad at the time.

Oh you poor thing, what a long time that's taking. I'm not sure what's wrong, though. Maybe he gets an air bubble? Is he burping well after the first half?

Agh!I remember this driving us crazy too! I think we used to burp her regularly throughout the bottle,in the hope to bring up too much wind and also to keep her awake.

They really can sleep at any moment at that age!

Louie is 13days old and does the same.
Seems like the last two days I have been constantly feeding or winding.
Infacol is making it slightly better but its still a challenge to get him to finsh a bottle or go more than 3 hours. However through the night sometimes he will go 5 hours.
So so tired!

This is probably NOT the answer.... but have you looked at the nipple flow???

Alexa still REFUSES to eat out of a bottle with a nipple that isn't "Slow".
If she has a medium or fast flow, she turns her head and cries too.

I know alot of bottles come with nipples of different speeds. I didn't know this until I thought she had favorite bottles... only to notice the small writing on the side that said "slow" / "lento" and the others said fast... lol

Could you try variflow teats? When I moved from Stage 1 (for the reasons you described) my LO preferred variflow because the size 2 were just a wee bit too much for her, although she did get used to them quite quickly.

We went through the same thing for a while, I tried changing teats too, burping her, changing her midway through. We also sat her more upright with the bottle horizontal so she could drink as much as she wanted and could have a breather without the milk still flowing. I'm not sure what sorted it, or if anything did, but she stopped doing it after about 4 days

A lot of dribbling is completely normal when you go up a size love, it takes a few days to get used to the faster flow. Fran was terrible when we went onto size 2's, more milk went into her triple chin than down her throat lol. It took her about a week to get used to them.

My LO was like this too.. for him though i noticed his tummy would do these really loud gurgles and he would scream. I thought it was gas but after i burped him he seemed worse. One thing i notice helped was walking him around the room as i fed him.

Have you tried winding LO every ounce we had to do that for bout 1st four weeks , she was good at burping but there was always bit more left n she would fuss like mad!! I also used infacol which helped.
