6dpo ttc for 7 years - Newbie to this site!

Hi - after some advice/support really -

We have been ttc for 7 years! 2 mc, and one ectopic in only tube, (right tbe removed due to endo cyst!) the ectopic ruptured at 10 weeks 4 days after my dog died (she was my world ), I nearly died too and the whole thing together nearly broke me forever.
We've been under the consultant for a while now as couldnt face doing anything until a year after my ectopic (it will be 3 years in November) and are being referred for IVF if i lose another 3kg at the end of march.

Does anyone know how long it will take to get started? am on hol in may and consultants hoping for june start - im just wondering if this is feasible - how long do the appts take to come through? we have had all tests and ive had a laparoscopy and something-pingogram (dye injected into tube)

Also! since my laparoscopy in jan wen my consultant had a poke around i've been ovulating again! stopped o'ing about 6 months ago ish for some reason, so now im 6dpo and - as i never learn - am doing the usual symptom imagining thing! Am i just being ridiculous in still hoping or is this normal!!!!!!

I can't offer much advice re appts as I am only just getting started in the process.

Hello and Welcome,

I am sorry for your losses. I always hope every month that it will happen. I wish I didn't because then it would be easier. I really have no idea about appointments. It probably varies.
