hope you're all well.
just wondering once bub gets a full bottle at 9oz, would you start introducing food?

Your title suggests your LO is taking 6oz a feed, yet you are asking about 9oz feeds??

I dont actually know the answer to giving LO solids if they are on 9oz bottles. I guess if they are over 4 months then a little try does no harm??

Omar is 4.5 mnths & he still cant take more than 8 oz per bottle & it's only before bedtime. He usually takes 7 oz bottles. I just started introducing baby rice ( 2days back). If I give him more than 8 oz, he will just throw up the extra oz immediately while winding.

i have no idea but i would like to know as my lo is 6 weeks and on 7oz, and his bottles only go up to 8oz (dr browns), so would be interesting to know what im meant to do once hes on the full 8oz!!

at the rate my lo is going, he will be on the full 8oz by the time hes 2 and half months, so god knows what would happen then!! ive never heard of babies being started on solids before 4 months, guess would just have to ask hv xx

not necessarily hun, Finleys been on 6oz since 6 weeks and hes still on that now and hes just over 12 weeks, sometimes he only takes 5 - they start to slow down after a while x

my little 1 is only just over a week and on 5 once . i was wondering the same thing as i read they cant go on solids till 6 months yet she is such a greedy baby already.

It regulates while growing up. Omar used to take 5 oz every 4 hrs when he was 8 wks, then we moved to 6-7 oz per feed. Until now he cant take more than 8 oz per bottle. He takes 4 feeds in 24 hrs. He's been taking the same since 5-6 wks.
