7 months and only on milk, anyone else?

holy shit that seems like alot, lol!

sounds like ur mum might have the tendency to stretch things like my mil does lol. so does my oh, im constantly calling him on his exaggerations. funnily enough, he's a minimiser when it comes to say, gaming.

example, oh: 'i took lo out for a two-hour walk' 'ive been gaming for about a half hour'

reality- 1hr walk with lo, 2 hours of gaming

how does your lo get on when shes at moms? does she go down for naps ok?

ah, dam. just realized i forgot to pick up pears at the grocery today. i wanted to try those on lo. they were on special too.

:haha: yep, I'm thinking slight exaggeration!

She goes to my Mam's and my MIL's absolutely no problem - I have done a few 'keep in touch' days at work now so know the drill for when I return next week

It means dragging my sorry ass out of bed at 5.30am to get ready before Aimee wakes but it has to be done so no point complaining! Naps are hit and miss at both grans! With me she has 1-2 hours in the morning and same again in afternoon. At Mams and MILs she can have anything from zero  to the full lot! They both have travel cots so I'm sure they'll get in their own routine with her once they have her every week.

Foodwise, we have progress!! She is actually taking bites and SWALLOWING them hurrah!! Only tiny bits...but anything is better than nothing! Today she has had 1/4 weatabix for brekkie, a melon finger (ate nearly all of it - took about 20 mins :haha:) , half a pineapple finger and a little yoghurt. YAY! Amazing how much she has changed from just 2 weeks ago when she would just mess about with her food.

How is your LO getting on?

thinkpositiv - thanks for the banana safety tip - i definitely didnt know that

no blw action yet this week. ive been too lazy!

i did remember to pick up pears tho, but theyre pretty firm. i left a couple out on the counter to soften up

kat - do u feed her the yoghurt or leave her to it?

Hey, no I feed her the yoghurt! I give her a spoon and she 'helps' a little bit more of goes over the ceiling, floor, walls than in her mouth if I leave her to her own devices!! She has only just (like in the last week) started accepting a spoon in her mouth so making the most of feeding her cereal and yoghurts. I've totally given up on purées now!

ugh, gave some boiled potato and carrot, super-gagfest, puked, then yelled at the foodbits/puke

i thought weaning was supposed to be fun?! lol

think imma put it off for a couple more weeks.
