so my little girl has been combi fedding for 2 weeks and 3 days she had 1 bottle a day for the first two weeks and we are now upto 2 bottles a day.
about a week into combi feeding my LO started doping more and more poops now 2 weeks and 3 days into combi feeding she is doing 7 plus poops a day
Last weekend we took her to the walk in clinic they said she had a virus and sent her to hospital to monitored for dehydration which she peed enough for them to be happy so sent her home saying was a virus but its like over a week now she has been pooing so much.
It isnt runny poop though as if she had the runs the consistency sometimes changes sometimes it is really lumpy and has white lumps in sometimes it is a bit mucousy but we think she could be teething so this could cause the greeny mucous poop other times its like a newborns poop not meconium but the seedy poop you can get sometimes it is just normal its sooo weird i can get my head around it i cant help but think this is not a virus and the docs have given me dud info (again!!!)
Also thinking back she did do some funny green poos while she was exclusivly breast feeding but i never got them checked out :-(
In hind site i dont think she has ever pooped in what i would say is normal even when she was born she used to poop about 10 times a day everytime i mentioned it to midwife or hv they just said it was normal :-/

my boy started pooing up to 6 times a day from 3mths when he started teething, the first one of the day is like watery clay and then it goes yellow, white lumpy looking bits and mucusy, was told the mucus is cause they swallow more when teething. its now settled down to 3 poops a day but it can be sometimes more. this is normal for my LO, but he is on a special medicated formula so has always been runny.

we've been there when my lo was 5 months..I had to change 6-7 dirty nappy/day
We are now back to 3 dirty ones/day

im getting a bit worried about her again because she keeps refusing feeds and when she does feed she will only take a small amount if any at all :-/

Sophie poos at least 6-7 times a day :). She doesn't seem bothered at all though. But because your LO is refusing feeds, that doesn't sound good. Have you spoken to a GP about it?
