Hello girls

I am 7 weeks pregnant and am going through a bit of a rough patch with my OH.

With all the stresses and upset we are going through, I am worried that I am going to loose this baby.

I tested positive at just over 4 weeks but apart from the odd bit of nausea, I dont feel pregnant.

I am wondering if i should test again?

Any advice?

xx

Other than sore boobs and some fatigue, I've had very few symptoms until the past week or so (8 weeks for me). Unless you have reason to believe there is something wrong (bleeding, really bad cramps, etc), you're probably fine, and just one of the lucky ones!

I'm sure I read that stress causing a miscarriage is a myth. I have been under unbelievable stress since I found out I was pregnant so I'm hoping that's true.

Look after yourself hun:hugs:

Hello, I think Chefsara77 is right, unless you have experienced bleeding and cramps then i wouldn't worry. You are probably just one of the lucky ones. I didn't really start suffering till after 7 weeks, so it may just not have started yet. But if you are a worrier like me I would understand if you wanted to do another test just to put your mind at rest and stop you from worrying. :) Take care of yourself xx

Hello :hi:

Welcome to baby and bump!

I am sorry to hear you are going thru a rough patch with your OH. But I really wouldn't worry about lack of symptoms as this is very normal for many women quite early on. It is very natural to worry, but there really is no need. The times you should have concerns mainly, are if you have heavy fresh bleeding and severe cramps. Otherwise, you really are no different to most on this forum, so please try not to worry!

Wishing you a very healthy & happy pregnancy! :hugs:x

I personally think that if the myth about stress causing miscarriages were true, the human race would have died out generations ago! Pregnancy is a stressful time for so many reasons, and even those who totally manage to pamper themselves and take it easy still stress. I don't think it's possible to be pregnant and *not* be stressed...so, in my mind, the fact that the human race is still here and thriving is a sign that stress alone is not a factor in M/C. I'm not a doctor or scientist or anything, but that's just my analysis of the situation :) And if anyone on this board does have the secret to a stress-free pregnancy, *please* let the rest of us know!! :)

So that's my long-winded way of saying that I think you're ok unless you have any strong physical reason to believe otherwise :hugs:

Lot's of women have very few symptoms or non at all and it doesn't seem real to start with anyway so it's easy to imagine the worst. I got through loads of pregnancy tests but try not to let if worry you or your just adding to your stress.

Hi girls,

Thanks for all your support and help with my concerns. I tested again today for a peace of mind and still preggers - yippee.

Just got to sort out the OH!

Happy Christmas and love xx:happydance:
