7 year age gap

Does anyone have a 7+ year age gap. If so, how is it.

Our kids are close in age but my sister was 8 years younger than me and my brother 6 years older. I was close with both of them growing up. I don't see my brother much now because we live far apart but I am still super close with my sister. When she was a baby I enjoyed helping to look after her. As we got older we became more 'equal' as friends. She is now 30 and I am 38.

my kids are 5.5 years apart and i love it!!! my daughter has really been able to experience having a sister who is little and new and thats so nice for her and she so proud of her baby sister.
