Hi girls,
I've heard of implantation bleeding happening around this time, but I never had any in my last pregnancy so I am a little alarmed that I've started bleeding early this afternoon! It's not heavy, just very light, a browny pink colour, but I have some very mild cramps to go with it so I am wondering if AF has visited early and just taking her sweet time to get started.
I'm not positive but I think I usually I have something like an 11 day luteal phase. So it is quite depressing to me that AF might be here and it's potentially only 8 or possibly 9 dpo.
Is it common to have an irregular luteal phase for a few months after stopping breastfeeding does anyone know? If this is the case will it lengthen out eventually? I stopped 5 months ago.
I also ovulated waaaaaaaaaay late this cycle, on around day 33 (I usually have 30 day cylces!) so I'm wondering if that has messed up the LP or if it should still be the same 11 ish days?
I guess I'll know very soon if this is AF (it FEELS like it but doesn't look like it!) or if it is a more hopeful sign.
Anyway just wondering if anyone could shed light on any reason why I might have a ridiculously short LP this cycle, if this really is AF already! Ahhh this is messing with my head.
