9 weeks today and bleeding:( I am panicing

I have started bleeding I fell down the stairs last week but I landed on my bum so I didn't worry. Should I be worried now? I had a sharp but not severe pain on my left side this evening.

Im almost 8 but possibly 9 weeks as I may have my dates wrong and I had a bit of bleeding earlier this evening. Just when I wiped and not enough to stain my underwear.

I'm worried too so like you panicking that something may be wrong. If you landed on your bum I wouldn't imagine the fall could have harmed the baby.

I've got an appointment at EPU tomorrow so if your concerned you should call your nearest and try and organise a scan to make sure all is okay.

If it's not cramping I wouldnt worry. How much blood is it...like a period or every once throughout the day?

Ring Nhs direct, they can give you advise and may be able to get an out of hours doc to you?

If not ring them in morning and get to your local Epac x

aww Em how scary *hugs*. Like the others say call NHS direct and take it from there. I cant imagine a bumped bum would cause things but better to be safe and hopefully put your mind at rest. Thinking of you hun. XX

Have you had an u/s yet in this pregnancy? How much blood is there? What color is it? Is the bleeding getting heavier or lighter? Is the pain on your left side getting worse? is it constant? or does it come or go?

Anyways, bleeding is very very common in pregnancy! As you've probably read before I bled every single day for 5 weeks and my last scan was fine and all seems to be well now. But my concern for you would be the unlikely event that's it an ectopic pregnancy. If you've had a scan already though you can pretty much rule it out. If you haven't had a scan yet I highly suggest you go in to get checked out. If you have then waiting it out, calling now or calling on the next business day are all suitable options.

That is just the same as me. I might also be eight weeks as an early scan put me back. I called my mw and she said at 8-9 weeks it could just be my ovaries trying to ovulate or a period. She said it is common for woman to spot every four week up until week 16.

I am still worried because I have had no preg symptoms. I will see my doc tomorrow as I was going about something else.

Thank you everyone. There is some brown blobs and some fresh red blood. It is just a small amount and the pain is stabbing, coming and going. Not like cramps. Definately over my left ovary.

I had a scan two weeks ago which showed a heart beat.

It only just started this last hour so I can't report if it is getting better or not.
