And jeez if in the 'event of a pregnancy' and you would rather just get rid of it because it doesn't suit you i suggest you review your contraception methods.

We cannot tell you if your girlfriend is or isn't pregnant, her best bet (and yours) would be to find a chemist/superdrug/boots/tesco whatever and buy a test or go to your doctors.
We also cannot discuss abortion on here out of respect for those who have been trying to concieve for a long time, have given children up for adoption instead, those with fertility problems, those who have lost children etc. we are not being rude, just adhering to forum rules.

What I can tell you is that while being a teen parent is hard, it is not impossible - despite your goals. Girls here have good jobs, go to school, go to university, go to work and one even started her own business. A baby does not mean your life or dreams end.

If your girlfriend is pregnant then both you and her are welcome to come back for help, advice, support, friendship etc.

Some people have no tact.

Your girlfriend can still have a life and have goals with a child. If anything, having a baby has motivated me even more to reach my goals. I'm about to have a daughter, and I want her to have an incredible life. And I want her to be proud of her mom. I'm working even harder for the things I want in life because I'm not just doing it for myself anymore.

And babies are blessings, not burdens. If you disagree, you probably shouldn't be having sex...seeing how that's the way babies come about....

just read through all of those posts and i was like yeah i totally agree with everything thats been said!

i agree 100% with you adrienne, becoming pregnant has definately made my life better, not just that im going to have a LO to love and cherish but also for the fact that its motivated me to get my arse into gear at college and do as well as i can, i'll probably not do quite as well as i would have done without my LO but im going to do my damndest to do well enough to go to uni so that i can offer my LO the best start for the future that i can
