hello ladies im 38 i have children the youngest been 2.5

we would like another but i find it hard to concieve there is a 9 year age gap between the first 2 and 2.5 between the others.

i have never been on the pill or used any protection but still no baby i have used pre-seed still nout.

it's been well over a year now of ttc , is it time to visit the doctor as my age must be a factor my oh is younger than me ??

Hi I think visiting the doctor and getting some initial checks would be a good idea. It is recommended for when you are over 35 and have been ttc for six months or so. Initial tests may see you are still ovulating etc and then go from there. Hopefully it is nothing, just taking a bit longer. Good luck. x

Good luck.
My Gyno says when your over 35 it can take up to 2yrs to conceive and under 35 they say around 12mths.
Funny thing is, when your over 35 (I am 35 nearly 36), you don't have 2yrs to play around with.

Hope everything works out well.

It is a good idea to have some tests done, I am 42 have 4 children already the youngest being 13, have been ttc for over a year now and still nothing, turns out Im not ovulating every month now so have been put on Clomid and fingers crossed that works!!! Age definatley does make a difference, I used to be very fertile but oh how things have changed!!!

Good luck with all the tests and hopefully you will get a :bfp: very soon xx
