Well, I just had a couple of things on my mind and I didn't want to make a new post for them all. So, first thing. Does/did anyone feel like it was sometimes hard to catch their breath. I'm only 16+3 and for like the past day or two, I feel like every once in a while I can't take a deep breath. It's really annoying. And a bit scary. I'm just curious, if this is due to pregnancy or I'm just weird. Lol.
Second thing. When did you ladies first feel your lo move and kick?
And the third thing, which no one but myself cares about, but I am so excited that I wanted to share. I have an appointment tomorrow! I hope all goes well. :) I can't wait to hear my lo's heartbeat. But anyways, that's all for now. Thanks! :)

I felt first movements really early, but I was around 16/17 Weeks for first proper kick I think :) and the breathlessness just gets worse I'm afraid :( well for me it has :/ I'd mention it to your midwife though, mine prescribed me iron as breathlessness can be related to anaemia, hope all goes well :)

I keep telling my bean to kick me hard, but it just won't listen! Lol. I also don't really know what I'm expecting to feel when it does. And I have no midwife, but I'll certainly tell the doctor tomorrow! Thanks:)

Yeh, the breathlessness thing is fairly normal. :/ Also, my baby has always been fairly chill with the kicking, didnt feel my first one till about 19 weeks or so. And have fun at your appointment! its always fun to hear baby's heart. :)

I haven't had much experience with breathlessness, unless I'm walking up stairs or doing something that causes regular exertion of energy normally, but I'm sure that your doc will have something helpful to say so you can ease your mind.

As for movement, I didn't feel my little dude moving at all until 19w+4, and kicks didn't start happening until last week at 20 weeks. My OH felt him for the first time yesterday, and that was about the hardest kick I've felt so far. Haha, I understand about talking to em. Whenever I get in the bath or am just sitting in bed watching TV or reading I'll occasionally rub my belly and talk to my little myles jr asking him to move around... haha sometimes I'll even tap on my stomach a little or give him a little jiggle to get him going. Another thing I've noticed is that he responds to me sitting still while listening to music- it's almost like he starts dancing! Or when I eat a decent meal he gets real active. The feeling is the best thing in the world. I find myself relaxing more often now just so I can sit down and feel him wake up and get moving.

Good luck at your appointment! I had my 20w gender scan last week and my 4th midwife appointment, gotta love hearing about how well the little dude's doing! Have fun listening to the heartbeat.

xx

for breathlessness i had alot of it and since im asthmatic i got it really bad so i got a inhaler so if you asthmatic that could be a reason.

My LO started moving around during week 15/16 and i didnt feel the first kick till week 19/20 but now she is really active she kicks all the time, blinks, sucks on her thumb, and i can even tell when she's getting ready go to bed or wants to eat:) The only song she really moves around to is Sadie by R-kelly which i love because her name is Sadie:)

Good luck on your appointment tomorrow i have one Thursday:)

I'm not asthmatic so that couldn't be it, ill ask my doctor when I go. And you're lucky. I want to feel my baby move already! And thanks. :)

during pregnancy i did find it hard to catch my breath, that was later on though, about 20week mark as LO was really big and heavy! If your concerned i'd have the doc check you over just to be on the safe side! And i felt LO kick around 16 weeks, think that was due to him being big too, just seemed to grow at a faster pace! But as for feeling movements, everyones different, but most people feel something by 20 weeks. Thing is, if your a FTM your not going to know what movements feel like, so you may have already felt some already without even knowing about it! & eek! Exciting about the scan.. i cried when i heard LO's heartbeat for the first time, it's such a lovely day! enjoy! :) xx

Well, my appointment went well. I was kinda confused on the Hb, but doctor said it sounded good. All my bloodwork came back good, and my urine was negative. My uterus is where it should be. And my gender scan will be the 19th of march, two days after my birthday! I can't wait! :) I've gained about two lbs, and he said its totally normal to feel like it is hard to catch your breath. So, yay! Id say the appointment went very well. :) thanks ladies.

yeah when i first heard the heartbeat i was like is that irregular because it sounded really fast and weird and she was like no all babys have fast heart beats and now everytime i goto an appointment i get to hear the heart beat :) oh how exciting i have a growth scan at my hospital march 3rd and an obgyn appointment thursday :) im excited:) congrats on your scan:)
