A little bit of help needed please....

Basically DH and i have been trying for over 2 and half years for a baby, we lost twins through m/c a few weeks apart and haven't managed to get pregnant since. My bloods came back fine for my fertility tests and so did DH's SA. My Dr then suggested PCOS as the cause because i have alot of the symptoms. They have now referred me to IVF wales for treatment but apparantly you have to be 23 for treatment? i've waited over six months where my drs been pushing me from pillar to post with blood tests (which i appreciate is not as long as some u ladies here have been waiting) but i emotionally cant cope with this anymore, ive had such a terrible experience with the NHS(see journal for more info) and just feel like giving up !! xxxx

I'm sorry you are having such a hard time. I don't know about NHS (I'm in Canada) but I hope it works out for you.

Ok, so let's think in terms of next steps if this IVF Wales won't take you. If the doctor thinks you have PCOS, why doesn't he explore that further? I know many women with PCOS are put on Metformin (Glucophage).

im jus all over the place and worried i have atleast another 2 year wait to be put back on the list ...my gp said that they dont do testing for PCOS i have to get it done through IVF wales...thanks for ur repy hun!! xxxxx
