I apologize if this is in the wrong place
Kay, so after high school I took a year off then I went back and started my college life. I took Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist. I have been graduated a year now, and I work in a pet supplies store. I feel like it is a waste of my schooling being here. But now I am also afraid that everything I learned, has escaped my head It's just in the industry where I live, you are either waiting for someone to go on mat leave, or retire in order to get a placement. I just don't know what to do anymore.
It also doesn't help that where I work now, rarely get people in as well, so I am almost always alone here. Should I look for a job in a different area? Like maybe an office job? I do have reception. I just feel like I wasted my money not doing what I went in for. Now also it is hard because I would rather be in animal grooming, but I already have a hefty student loan to pay back.
